Former Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha could continue his career at Malaga. The Spanish club is exploring the possibility of signing the 33-year-old, who recently left Charlotte FC.

Wilfried Zaha may be set for an unexpected return to European football. According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, the services of the former Manchester United and Crystal Palace winger have been offered to Spanish side Malaga.

The 33-year-old is on the hunt for a new club after his loan spell with Charlotte FC ended in June. Zaha was previously with Galatasaray but is now a free agent.

Malaga is considering the option. Despite his age, the Ivorian boasts a wealth of experience and impressive attacking prowess. Earlier reports suggested that Malaga had also been offered the chance to sign former United forward Anthony Martial.

Zaha enjoyed a productive spell in MLS, scoring 13 goals and providing 14 assists in 46 league and playoff matches.

The main hurdle for any potential transfer could be financial. Throughout his career, Zaha's salary has consistently exceeded what Malaga could typically offer.

If both parties can agree on a wage reduction, a short-term contract could prove to be a fantastic move for both the player and the club, allowing Malaga to secure a high-profile signing while giving Zaha the opportunity to showcase his talents in Europe once again.
