Experts have come to a damning conclusion that Patrick Dorgu should never represent Manchester United again following a dismal performance in the derby against Manchester City.
With Luke Shaw sidelined through injury, Dorgu found himself starting at left-back during the 2026/27 season's derby, which ended in a 1-0 defeat, even with City reduced to ten men.
A controversial goal from Erling Haaland should have been disallowed, highlighting a serious positional blunder from Dorgu. His overall display was lacklustre at best.

His failure to make tough calls and bench Marcus Rashford–because it's a Manchester derby, and local lads should be there, and all that nonsense–cost them the game. Bringing Rashford off the bench when the opposition has ten men would have been more effective than starting him.
