15-Second Brief
Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has not ruled out a move to Arsenal. In the Turkish Super Lig opener, the Nigerian scored a double in a 2-2 draw with Corum, apologised to fans for dropped points, and commented on club negotiations.

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has refused to dismiss the possibility of a transfer to Arsenal. The 27-year-old Nigerian forward's comments came right after a dramatic opening match in the Turkish Super Lig, where his side drew 2-2 at home against Corum.

Osimhen scored both goals for his team, rescuing Galatasaray from defeat with a strike in the 90th minute. Immediately following the final whistle, he approached the ultras behind the goal to apologise for missing out on what could have been a victory in their season opener.

In response to ongoing chatter about potential negotiations for his transfer to Arsenal, Osimhen stated:

There are always a lot of rumours during the transfer windows. I’m focused on my work. We’ll see and think about what comes next.

The striker also assured that he would give everything for the club if he remains in Istanbul:

This will be a tough season, and the team understands that. I’m ready to put in maximum effort for this club. The last game was an important signal for all of us — we need to build momentum ahead of the Champions League.
