15-Second Brief
Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has highlighted the progress of Argentine winger Alejandro Garnacho. The player is actively getting into shape following criticism and hopes to receive a chance in the upcoming match against Brentford.

Aston Villa winger Alejandro Garnacho has made noticeable strides in training and is looking to convince Unai Emery to grant him more playing time.

The Argentine has joined the Birmingham club on a season-long loan from Chelsea. Thus far this season, he has seen just 31 minutes of action across three appearances out of eight matches.

Following the victory over Coventry in the League Cup—where Garnacho remained on the bench—Emery made it clear that the player needed to put in more effort. However, ahead of Saturday's clash with Brentford, the Spanish manager has offered his support for the young talent.

"He is definitely improving and getting better. The two weeks we have spent working here have been very important. He scored against Southampton and Sevilla, playing 90 minutes in both matches.

There are still aspects to work on: improving his fitness, power, and tactically adapting to the structure. He has already shown his quality at Chelsea in the first half of the season and at Manchester United.

He is still young. He joined us to realise his best qualities. He needs to prepare himself and get fit—and he is doing just that. He is working well and making progress."
