London's Tottenham are engaged in active discussions with Manchester City about the potential acquisition of two attacking players - 27-year-old Egyptian Omar Marmush and 22-year-old Brazilian winger Savinho.
According to the reliable insider from The Athletic, David Ornstein, the talks between the clubs regarding both players are progressing swiftly, although final agreements haven't been reached yet.
The Spurs have been negotiating for Savinho over the past few weeks, but the inclusion of Marmush into a potential double deal has recently surfaced.
Last summer, Tottenham attempted to sign the Brazilian for €50 million, but City blocked the transfer. However, Savinho has seen limited playing time and wasn't even included in the squad for the recent FA Community Shield match.
The Egyptian forward also lacks a stable place in City's starting XI, having only come off the bench in the Community Shield clash.
