Tottenham will head to a training camp in Marbella right after their match against Manchester United. Head coach Roberto De Zerbi aims to use the break to unite his revamped squad and lift the club from the bottom of the league table.

Tottenham are set to jet off to Marbella for a training camp immediately following Saturday's clash with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

With the club languishing at the bottom of the Premier League table, having managed just two points from their first five games, head coach Roberto De Zerbi is desperate to turn the tide on what has been a challenging season.

There is a nine-day gap between the encounter with Manchester United and their next fixture at home to Coventry, and the Italian tactician has opted to use this time for a crucial trip to sunnier climes.

Tottenham splashed over £250 million on ten new signings last summer, with many such as Savinho, Tosin Adarabioyo, Mykhailo Mudryk, and Omar Marmush arriving at the very end of the transfer window, leaving them with little time to gel as a unit.

The club's hierarchy has backed the idea of a trip to Spain. According to BBC Sport, they recognise the importance of allowing players some downtime to bond and better grasp De Zerbi's tactical demands away from the pressures of matchday.
