Tottenham are preparing for a defensive clear-out that could bring in around £128 million. Barcelona are interested in Pedro Porro, Jed Spence has agreed terms with Inter, and Cristian Romero is close to a move to Atletico.

Tottenham are reportedly set to sell three of their defenders during this transfer window. After making significant investments totalling £237 million — including the arrivals of Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes, and Sandro Tonali — the club is now in a position where they need to balance their books.

The sale of Pedro Porro, Jed Spence, and Cristian Romero could net Spurs around £128 million (€150 million).

Details of potential transfers:

  • Pedro Porro (Barcelona): The Catalan giants have made contact with the 26-year-old right-back's representatives. The transfer fee is estimated at €80 million (£68 million) and is being considered by Barcelona in case Jules Kounde, who has attracted interest from Arsenal, departs.
  • Jed Spence (Inter): Spence has already agreed personal terms with the Serie A champions. According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter have submitted an official offer, with the total deal expected to exceed €30 million (£26 million).
  • Cristian Romero (Atletico Madrid): The Argentine centre-back has given the green light for a move to Diego Simeone's side. As reported by The Mirror, the clubs have agreed on a transfer fee of €40 million (£34 million). Spurs, however, have resolutely ruled out any possibility of selling him to Arsenal.

Meanwhile, Tottenham remain interested in signing winger Savinho from Manchester City for around £60 million, and are also weighing up a move for Liverpool forward Cody Gakpo, with a price tag of £70 million.
