Marcus Rashford has clearly expressed his fatigue over the incessant chatter surrounding him. The Manchester United forward responded to a segment from the Stick to Football podcast, where Gary Neville once again proposed discussing the player.
This time, Jamie Carragher took issue with the constant focus on Rashford, showing evident exasperation:
Can we manage one episode without mentioning Rashford? Enough already. Good grief. It's like we have to include him in every conversation, just like with Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Rashford caught wind of Carragher’s comments and took to social media to thank the former Liverpool defender:
Thanks, Jamie. It would be great to just focus on working hard and playing football without my name coming up every day.
The 28-year-old striker has returned to Manchester United after a loan spell at Barcelona last season, where he helped the Catalans lift the La Liga title.
Rashford's last official match for United was back in December 2024 under Ruben Amorim. Now back with the first team, he could feature in Michael Carrick's squad for their opening Premier League match against Hull.
