Manchester United are exploring the possibility of signing Arsenal defender Myles Lewis-Skelly.
According to journalist Miguel Delaney from The Independent, the Manchester club has been keeping an eye on the young Englishman for some time. They are now trying to ascertain whether the London club is open to negotiations.
In addition to this, Manchester United is also working on signing Newcastle defender Lewis Hall.
Last season, Lewis-Skelly was sidelined for an extended period with Arsenal. However, the young player made a comeback, returned to the starting XI, and became a key player towards the end of the season.
The defender started in the Champions League final against PSG and also helped the Gunners secure the Premier League title with his reliable performances.
Arsenal want to keep hold of their talent. However, the situation may change if the Londoners purchase Bruno Guimarães and Vinícius Júnior.
In that case, the Gunners may have to sell players to maintain balance. It is noted that Lewis-Skelly himself has not been put on the transfer list.
