15-Second Brief
Liverpool have bid £50 million for Crystal Palace winger Ismaila Sarr following the collapse of their deal for Minte. The player is keen to join the Merseysiders.

Liverpool have officially begun talks with Crystal Palace regarding the transfer of 28-year-old Senegalese winger Ismaila Sarr. According to renowned insider Fabrizio Romano, the Merseyside club has submitted a transfer offer of around £50 million, and the player himself has expressed a strong desire to move to Anfield.

The renewed interest in Sarr comes after failed negotiations with Brighton for 22-year-old Gambian winger Yankuba Minte, who was priced out by the Seagulls.

Previously, Crystal Palace rejected two official bids for Sarr from Turkish giants Galatasaray. Since joining Selhurst Park from Marseille in 2024, Sarr has established himself as a key attacking figure, helping his team lift the FA Cup and scoring 21 goals in 45 appearances across all competitions last season. His blistering pace, dribbling skills, and experience in the Premier League make Sarr an ideal addition to Andoni Iraola's attacking setup as the transfer window approaches its closure.
