Former Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho is prepared to remain without a club until January if the right offer does not come his way. According to TEAMtalk, negotiations with a number of clubs have stalled.
Sancho left United in the summer, becoming a free agent after spending last season on loan at Aston Villa, where he featured in 39 matches. Representatives of the 26-year-old have been in dialogue with clubs from Saudi Arabia, Major League Soccer, Qatar, and the UAE, while also weighing up possibilities in Germany, Spain, and France. Even Italian side Como, linked with Cesc Fabregas, contemplated a deal, but it didn't progress beyond initial interest.
Sancho's primary ambition has been a return to Borussia Dortmund, the club where he enjoyed the most fruitful years of his career. Dortmund's manager, Niko Kovac, is a fan of the midfielder's talent; however, the German side opted against signing him after they secured Ethan Nwaneri on loan from Arsenal.
Rumours regarding interest from Russian club Krasnodar also proved unfounded, as intermediaries gauged the situation but the winger never seriously considered a move to Russia.
Currently, Sancho is maintaining his fitness by training with an amateur team in Manchester and is ready to wait for the winter transfer window to open.
