Hull City are in talks with Real Betis for 20-year-old defender Pablo Garcia. The €6 million offer for 50% of the rights hasn't satisfied the Spanish club.

Hull City has officially initiated dialogue with Real Betis concerning the transfer of promising left-back Pablo Garcia.

As reported by Marca, the Tigers have made contact with an offer to buy 50% of the economic rights for €5 to €6 million.

However, the Betis hierarchy is adamant that these initial financial terms are unacceptable, whether the final offer amounts to €5 million or €6 million for half of the rights. The Andalusian outfit firmly believes in the potential of their young prospect and expects Hull to significantly improve their proposal.

Hull City is keen to close the deal by purchasing 50% of the rights, which would allow Betis to retain a share of any future resale should the player make a move to the Premier League.

Real Betis holds a high regard for their U21 international defender and is willing to negotiate only if there’s a considerable increase in the fixed compensation offered.
