Arsenal tracking Kaauan Elias as scouts from 10 clubs watch Shakhtar forward

Arsenal are keeping a close eye on the development of 20-year-old Brazilian forward Kaauan Elias, currently playing for Shakhtar Donetsk.

According to TEAMtalk, the Gunners had representatives at a recent match to assess the striker's performance in person.

There was a significant scouting presence in the stands, with delegates from at least 10 European clubs present to watch the promising Brazilian.

Shakhtar acquired the forward last year for around £14.5 million (€17 million), making him a key part of their long-term sporting project.

Elias's contract with the Ukrainian giants runs until 2029, which strengthens Shakhtar's negotiating position and rules out a sale on unfavourable terms.
