Everton are currently pursuing a right-back transfer, but the newcomer could join the squad after the Premier League season begins. The club hierarchy are determined to wait for the player they consider a priority target.
One option on the table is Hector Fort. Barcelona are willing to part with the 20-year-old defender for around €10 million, but Real Sociedad have also entered the race for his signature. Elche are reportedly showing interest as well.
However, TEAMtalk reports that Fort is not the only option for Everton. The club has drawn up a shortlist that includes:
- Gela Due – Strasbourg
- Daniel Munoz – Crystal Palace
- Timothy Castagne – Fulham
Crystal Palace are reportedly considering offers in the region of £25 million for Munoz. Castagne is appealing to Everton due to his versatility, as the Belgian is capable of playing on both flanks of the defence.
