Manchester City's Erling Haaland has surprised football fans with a dramatic change in his image. The Norwegian has shed his trademark long blonde locks.
The forward showcased his new short haircut on social media just hours before his team was set to kick off the 2026/27 Premier League season against Bournemouth.
His long hair had become as much a part of his identity as his remarkable goal-scoring ability. Fans will now need to adjust to a new, more streamlined version of Haaland.
On Sunday morning, the striker shared a series of pictures capturing the haircut process, captioning one of the posts:
“Short hair is not a problem.”
The Norwegian later added a before-and-after video, which caught the attention of Manchester City’s official account, who cheekily commented using Haaland's own trademark phrase:
“Cute.”
