Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has been awarded the prestigious save of the month accolade for December in the English Premier League.
The defining moment that earned the Spanish shot-stopper this recognition came during a match against Sunderland. With the score locked at 0-0, Raya made an outstanding save from a penalty taken by Enzo Le Fe. This pivotal moment turned the tide of the match, with the Gunners taking the lead just two minutes later and eventually securing a 2-0 victory.
This marks David Raya's fourth save of the month award in his Premier League career, placing him just behind the record-holder Jordan Pickford, who has five to his name.
