Goalkeeper Christian Walton has signed a contract extension with Ipswich Town, which will see him remain at Portman Road until the summer of 2029.
Walton moved to the club from Brighton on loan in 2021 before making the transfer permanent in January 2022. Since then, he has played 138 matches for the team, playing a pivotal role in their recent successes, including promotion to the Premier League.
“I’m really pleased to sign a new deal with the club. As the fans will know, this club and this area mean a lot to me, and I’m incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved together over the past few years. Getting promoted to the top division and then representing Ipswich Town again in the Premier League is one of the highlights of my career so far, and I’m excited to extend my stay here for another season,”
