Chelsea officially signed 18-year-old Dastan Satpaev for £3.4 million on a 7-year deal and loaned him to Burnley.

Chelsea have officially confirmed the signing of 18-year-old Kazakhstan striker Dastan Satpaev from Kairat. Immediately following the completion of his long-term contract, the young forward has been loaned out to Burnley for the upcoming season.

The new deal with the Blues is set for seven years, running until the summer of 2033, with the transfer fee reported to be £3.4 million.

Due to legal restrictions, Satpaev wasn't able to formalise a full contract with Chelsea until he celebrated his 18th birthday on 12 August. However, he made a strong impression by participating in the team’s pre-season tour of Australia and Asia, where he even found the back of the net against Western Sydney Wanderers.

As he embarks on his season in the Championship with Burnley, the Kazakh forward will be hoping to gain regular playing time and acclimatise to the rigours of English football.
