Known by the nickname "The Chief", Faye helped Senegal clinch the U17 Africa Cup of Nations title this year in Morocco. He previously won both the top scorer and best player awards at the regional WAFU tournament (UFOA), and this year, he's guided his team to another final.
His football academy, Be Sport, has shared photos of Faye training in Chelsea gear while being overseen by manager Xabi Alonso, marking a significant step in his career.
This invitation underscores Chelsea's return to their familiar strategy of signing promising young talents. Last summer, the club's hierarchy made a rare deviation by bringing in seasoned players like Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson.
If a contract is agreed, Faye could continue the legacy of Senegalese players at Stamford Bridge, following in the footsteps of notable figures such as Nicolas Jackson, Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Demba Ba.
