Chelsea and Monaco are currently immersed in serious discussions regarding the transfer of 22-year-old Senegalese central midfielder Lamin Kamara. According to Belgian football insider Sasha Tavolieri, the Blues view the young African talent as a direct replacement for Enzo Fernandez.
Leading negotiations from the Monaco side is the club's CEO, Tiago Scuro. The Ligue 1 outfit is keen to finalise the sale of the midfielder for around €60 million within the next 48 hours, ahead of the impending transfer deadline.
