Insider Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the imminent transfer of Lille midfielder Ayoub Buaddi to Manchester City. The club have already agreed terms with the Moroccan player and his agents, with a deal expected to be finalised shortly.

Insider Fabrizio Romano has revealed on his YouTube channel that Manchester City are poised to sign Lille midfielder Ayoub Buaddi.

This deal is set to go through regardless of any other transfer activity the club might be undertaking.

“City will sign players, don’t worry about that. For example, Ayoub Buaddi,” stated Romano.

“Ayoub Buaddi will become a Manchester City player, and this could happen at any moment. They have an agreement in place with the player and his agents,” added the journalist.

“The Moroccan talent is keen to join Manchester City now rather than wait until 2027, so it’s expected that the deal will happen right away. Everything is moving in the right direction. So, Ayoub Buaddi will become a Manchester City player, and this is just one example,” the insider noted.

“And then I'm sure Manchester City will want to do more, so let's see what happens with Enzo Fernandes, who is clearly a target for Enzo Maresca,” Romano concluded.
