The agent of Enzo Fernandez, Javier Pastore, has issued a scathing critique of Chelsea's hierarchy, accusing them of intentionally derailing the player's potential transfer to Manchester City.
Pastore claims that the club's attitude towards Fernandez shifted dramatically after his goal against England. He described Chelsea's treatment of the player as "disgraceful," noting that it was at the player's request he began to explore options for his future, approaching both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City.
Since Enzo scored against England, Chelsea have completely turned their back on him. He has even been sidelined from certain team activities, and this behaviour from Chelsea is simply disgraceful.
Enzo asked me to help him find a new club, so I proposed him to PSG and Manchester City. City showed interest, but Chelsea kept insisting on raising his price. Initially, the fee was set at $80 million, but they purposely hiked it to $120 million to prevent the transfer, leaving Enzo stuck on the bench for the entire season.
