The Merseysiders are preparing to send a new official offer to the Parisians this week in a bid to finally overcome the French club's reluctance to part with the promising talent.

An agreement on a long-term contract, extending until the summer of 2032, has already been reached between Liverpool and the player. Despite rival interest from Arsenal and a club in the Saudi Pro League, the Reds are firmly leading the race for Barcola's signature.
