Benoit Badiashile's transfer from Chelsea to Napoli is reaching its conclusion. According to insider Nicolo Schira, the 25-year-old French centre-back has just landed in Italy.
The defender is set for a medical examination tomorrow morning at 10:00 AM at the renowned Villa Stuart clinic in Rome. Following a successful set of tests, he is expected to sign an official contract with the Neapolitan club.
Badiashile will spend the night in Rome, undergoing comprehensive medical checks before putting pen to paper on a long-term deal structured as '1+4', which will run until June 2031 with an annual salary of €2.8 million.
The arrangement includes a paid loan for one season valued at €3 million, with a subsequent permanent transfer option set at €27 million.
Fans are hopeful that Badiashile will make his debut for Napoli in the early fixtures of Serie A.
