Nottingham Forest are bracing themselves for a significant fight to retain their leader next summer. Bayern Munich has emerged as one of the leading contenders for the transfer of attacking midfielder and Forest captain Morgan Gibbs-White.
The German giants are reportedly looking to entice the Englishman with an appealing prospect: the chance to play alongside England teammate Harry Kane. However, any bid for the playmaker is likely to meet stern resistance from Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.
Back in 2025, the Greek businessman vetoed a move for the midfielder to Tottenham Hotspur when the North London club attempted to activate a £60 million release clause. At that time, Forest even warned Spurs of potential legal action over unauthorized contact with the player.
