Barcelona are keen to sign Jeremy Frimpong from Liverpool for £35 million

Barcelona are weighing up a move for Liverpool's right-back Jeremy Frimpong in the January transfer window.

According to Spanish journalist Juan Jesus, the 25-year-old Dutchman is having a tough time at Liverpool and doesn't seem to be part of manager Andoni Iraola's plans.

Reports suggest that Frimpong is already interested in making a switch to Barcelona, with the Catalan club's head coach Hansi Flick previously inquiring about the potential signing.

Liverpool are reportedly open to letting the defender leave in January for a fee of £35 million.
