Al Hilal has made an official approach regarding the transfer of Gabriel Martinelli. According to insider Fabrizio Romano, the Saudi club has communicated directly with Arsenal about the Brazilian winger.
A crucial detail is Martinelli's own position. Previously reluctant to move to exotic leagues, including a potential switch to Turkey amid interest from Galatasaray, he is now reportedly open to considering a move to Saudi Arabia.

“Al Hilal has officially reached out to Arsenal about Gabriel Martinelli. The Brazilian winger is open to moving to the Saudi Pro League club and is prioritised above two other options – Pedro Neto and Francisco Conceicao.”
Martinelli currently stands as Al Hilal’s main target for the wing position, with Pedro Neto from Chelsea and Francisco Conceicao also remaining in the Saudi club's sights.
This situation is particularly intriguing given recent developments at Arsenal: Martinelli was excluded from the squad for both the FA Community Shield against Manchester City and the Premier League opener against Coventry.
