15-Second Brief
Tottenham lost to Liverpool 1-3, extending their winless streak to four matches. Roberto De Zerbi admitted the team's struggles with results but is confident that once things click, Spurs will start winning and scoring plenty.

Tottenham exited the Carabao Cup following a 1-3 loss to Liverpool at Anfield. Roberto De Zerbi's team has now gone four matches without a win, but the Italian is convinced that a turning point is near.

In the Premier League, Spurs are also struggling, sitting on just two points from their first four matches. This dismal start comes despite the club having invested heavily in their squad over the summer, spending over £300 million on new signings.

After the defeat to Liverpool, De Zerbi expressed his frustration:

We are suffering because results are our life. When we lose, it hurts us; we are upset, disappointed, and down. It’s tough. But we are only at the beginning of a new project.

Despite the challenging times, the head coach insisted he sees plenty of reasons to remain optimistic:

We need everything to finally come together. It’s not about the mentality — today we showed the right attitude and played until the very end. I believe we will win a lot and score a great deal.

Tottenham did create a fair number of chances at Anfield, with reports indicating the visitors had 17 attempts compared to Liverpool's 12. Their next opportunity to secure their first victory of the new Premier League season will come on Saturday against Aston Villa.
