According to esteemed journalist José Félix Díaz from Diario AS, the hierarchy at Madrid's Real have set strict financial boundaries for a potential transfer of 26-year-old winger Vinicius Junior to London club Arsenal.
The Spanish giants will only agree to part with their star player if the prospective buyer fully meets their demands, which are estimated to be between €150–170m (£128–146m).
The primary reason for the emergence of transfer rumours is the stalled negotiations over a contract extension. The Brazilian's current deal expires in the summer of 2027, and the player's side's demands regarding salary and signing bonuses are considered excessive by the club's board.
Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta has personally taken the lead on ‘Operation Vinicius’ from the London club’s side. The Spanish tactician has already held talks with the player's entourage, promising him a key role in his team.
