“People will laugh when I say this, but I don’t care. Chelsea are the best club in the world in the 21st century,” Guardiola stated.
“Their mentality, their history, the way they build teams... even when they face difficulties, they always find a way back,” he added.
“If you ask me which club I would never want to face when they are at their peak, it would be Chelsea,” the coach remarked.
“I have immense respect for them. The Premier League needs Chelsea at the very top,” Guardiola concluded.
