Niccolo Fortini rejects Hull City and is close to a move to Torino

20-year-old Fiorentina and Italy under-21 defender Niccolo Fortini is on the brink of joining Torino.

According to insider Lorenzo Lepore, negotiations between the clubs have reached a decisive stage after a principal agreement was reached.

Fiorentina had previously fully agreed to transfer the player to English Premier League side Hull City on a paid loan deal worth €1 million, with an option for a future buyout at €9 million.

However, Fortini has shown no desire to make the move to England and has instead opted to stay in Serie A, choosing the project in Turin.
