Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard reflected on his side's impressive 3-0 triumph against Manchester City in the Community Shield during a rapid-fire interview with TNT Sports.
The Norwegian midfielder, who found the net early in the second half, highlighted the team's ambitious aspirations as they kick off the new season:
“We showed brilliant football today. It was a magnificent performance and a fantastic way to start the season.
I always strive to help the team as much as possible with goals and assists. I want to score even more.
We demonstrated our true level today and proved that we are completely ready. Our mindset is very serious. We want to attack this season and replicate our success. Once you taste victory and realise how sweet it is, you crave it again and again. We want to win everything.”
