Luis Enrique has admitted he is uncertain about the future of Bradley Barcola, as speculation grows over a possible move to Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain.
Barcola has been on Liverpool's radar all summer long, with the Reds eyeing him as a potential replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Arsenal are also closely monitoring the situation regarding the French international. The Gunners are reportedly considering a move to steal a march on their Premier League rivals, especially following Vinicius Junior's new contract with Real Madrid.
The winger has recently returned to PSG's squad after a lengthy break following the World Cup and has been named in the squad for the UEFA Super Cup clash against Aston Villa in Salzburg this Wednesday.
At a pre-match press conference on Tuesday, the topic of the 23-year-old player's future arose. However, Enrique's response was rather ambiguous.
The Spanish tactician remarked:
"I don't know, and I don't want to speak about any individual player because that raises questions on whether the comments are positive or negative. I'm still focused on my team."
This summer, PSG has already bolstered their attacking line significantly, having signed Manises Aclush from Monaco and reportedly being close to securing a deal for Ferran Torres from Barcelona.
With the likes of Desiree Due, Ousmane Dembele, and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia already at PSG, Barcola's playing time at Parc des Princes could take a notable hit if he remains at the club.
Meanwhile, the transfer to Liverpool seems to be in jeopardy according to fresh reports.
As per The Athletic, PSG have placed a price tag of around £145 million on Barcola. Liverpool are currently unwilling to meet that asking price.
