Liverpool may face serious challenges in their pursuit of Michael Olise. The 24-year-old winger from Bayern Munich is uninterested in a swift return to the Premier League and would prefer to continue his career in Spain if he leaves the German club.
Following Mohamed Salah's departure, Liverpool had identified Olise as a candidate for the right-wing position. However, their attempts to secure a transfer were unsuccessful, leading the club to shift their focus to Bradley Barcola.
Last summer, both Arsenal and Manchester City also explored the situation surrounding the Frenchman, but Bayern were not considering offers, and the player himself showed no desire to leave Munich.
If Olise does decide to switch clubs in the future, he is more attracted to La Liga. Both Real Madrid and Barcelona are aware of his intentions and may enter the fray to secure his signature.
Bayern's position remains strong: Olise’s contract runs until 2029 and reportedly contains no release clause. Thus, any potential buyer would have to negotiate a substantial transfer fee with the Bavarians.
