Delap arrived at Chelsea last summer, quickly contributing to the team’s success by helping them clinch the Club World Cup. Throughout the tournament, he played in six out of seven matches, starting in four of them.
During his time with Chelsea last season, the Englishman featured in 41 matches across all competitions. Notably, he scored against Barcelona at Stamford Bridge and netted another goal away to Fulham.
Now, Delap will continue his career at Nottingham Forest on a permanent basis.
