He consistently plays with such passion and determination. Szoboszlai could become a real leader, but his legacy should be judged at the end of his career, not after just two years at the club. Right now, the focus should be on this season's results.
In discussing the departure of 34-year-old Mohamed Salah and the potential signing of Bradley Barcola from PSG for an astronomical £145 million, Barnes advised against fixating on price tags:
Parting ways with Salah is the right decision for both parties. At 34, he couldn't deliver the same output. Regarding Barcola, if the club believes his price is justified, fantastic. But even if the transfer doesn't happen, I wouldn't be disappointed.
We already have some excellent players. This season, we will see the best versions of Alexander Isak, Florian Wirtz, and Milos Kerkedza. Solving issues isn't always about signing glamorous stars; it's about working with the squad you have.
