The Brazilian forward revealed his decision to sign a new six-year deal, with the option for an additional two years, on the professional networking site LinkedIn.
Joao Pedro joined the Blues from Brighton in 2025 for £60 million, beating Newcastle to secure his signature. Since his arrival, he has netted 26 goals, making him the club's top scorer during this period, well ahead of Cole Palmer, who has 18 goals.
In his message, the forward expressed gratitude to the fans while explaining why he decided to stay at Stamford Bridge.
