Manchester United risk losing one of their brightest academy talents. 15-year-old Jae Jae Gabriel has officially requested to leave the club.
The young player has been part of United's system since the age of 11, and his rapid rise has caught the attention of Europe's top teams.
According to The Athletic, Real Madrid are already working on a potential transfer, with Barcelona, PSG, and Bayern Munich also keeping a close eye on the situation.
Representatives from Real were particularly impressed with Gabriel's performance in a UEFA Youth League match against Azerbaijan’s Sabah last week. United thrashed their opponents 5-0, with Gabriel netting a hat-trick in the 45th, 85th, and 87th minutes.
Gabriel has formally demanded the annulment of his registration. The Guardian reports that Manchester United's hierarchy were taken aback by this request.
The club remains keen to retain the teenage sensation, who was even considered a candidate for Michael Carrick's first team.
