Turkish giants Galatasaray are ramping up their efforts to land Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli. The club is on the lookout for attacking reinforcements and has already conducted preliminary discussions with the Gunners.

According to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, the Turkish outfit have tabled a €50 million offer for an 80% stake in the player.

The Arsenal hierarchy have reacted positively to this proposal.

However, the Brazilian and his representatives appear to have reservations about the viability of such a move.

To facilitate negotiations, Galatasaray have enlisted agent Jorge Mendes as an intermediary.

It is worth noting that Martinelli's current contract with Arsenal has just one year left, although the Gunners do hold an option to extend it for an additional season.
