Gabriel Jesus's agent, Giovanni Branchini, has dismissed rumours of negotiations with Napoli.
Earlier reports had suggested that the Italian club was keen to sign the Arsenal forward this summer. With Napoli actively searching for options to bolster their attack, the 29-year-old Brazilian was linked with a move to Serie A.
However, the player's representative clarified the situation in an interview with Corriere dello Sport. Branchini stated that there had been no contact with the Italian club.
"We have never discussed this situation: there have been no negotiations, and therefore there could have been no approval from us or from the player," Branchini bluntly asserted.
Gabriel Jesus remains an Arsenal player. Interest from Napoli has yet to develop into any official discussions.
