Frank Lampard: “First match against Arsenal? We won't go out there scared”

In a recent interview with BBC, head coach Frank Lampard expressed his thoughts ahead of the highly anticipated opening clash of the Premier League against Arsenal.

Lamaprd made it clear that his team won't be adopting a defensive mentality or showing fear against one of the title favourites this season.

“First match against Arsenal? With our style of play and approach to the game, I want to show that we won't go out there scared. We hold Arsenal in high regard, but that doesn’t mean we have to be excessively respectful and passive. I hope we demonstrate that we are a good team aiming for something significant this year,” Lampard stated.
