Barcelona's Fermin Lopez has turned down offers from Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea this summer.
The 23-year-old midfielder has attracted considerable interest, with all three Premier League giants reportedly negotiating a potential transfer as soon as the summer window opened, according to TEAMtalk. Insiders believed a deal could materialise.
The report suggests that Lopez's representatives were indeed exploring available options and had made contact with various clubs as part of the process.
However, Barcelona's hierarchy remained steadfast in their belief in Lopez’s abilities. Manager Hansi Flick has been vocal about the midfielder playing a significant role in their future plans. Consequently, both the player and the Catalan club opted against a move to England.
Interestingly, Barca's willingness to listen to offers for Dani Olmo partly hinges on their faith in Lopez. The Catalan giants feel there’s no immediate need to secure a replacement as Fermin is seen as crucial to their squad.
