Burnley right-back Kyle Walker is once again on the brink of a transfer to Everton, with interest from manager David Moyes.
The 36-year-old made the switch to Burnley from Manchester City last summer, signing a two-year deal worth £5 million. This move came after a failed transfer to Everton that had been anticipated for a while.
Walker, who boasts 96 caps for the England national team, nearly joined the Toffees as a teenager, but that move never materialised.
Last season, he made 35 appearances for Burnley in the Premier League, though his efforts weren't enough to prevent the club's relegation.
On Saturday, he also scored the winning penalty in a shootout during the EFL Cup match against Notts County.
It’s reported that if Walker does make the switch to Everton, it will be for a nominal fee.
This summer, the Toffees have already secured the signings of Brennan Johnson, Christian Norgaard, Hayden Hackney, Tyrique George, and Merlin Rolla.
Johnson was the latest addition to the squad on Tuesday after completing a move from Crystal Palace, while Dwight McNeil moved in the opposite direction to Selhurst Park.
