- Goalkeeper: Jan Oblak — £342,127 per week. The Atletico shot-stopper is the highest-paid goalkeeper in Europe at his position, with a contract that runs for another two years.
- Right-back: Trent Alexander-Arnold — £273,800. The England international has made the switch from Liverpool to Real Madrid, earning more than his rival for the right-back spot, Denzel Dumfries.
- Centre-back: Virgil van Dijk — £350,000. Liverpool's captain remains the highest-paid centre-back in Europe, with just a year left on his current deal.
