Coventry City have confirmed the signing of Dutch midfielder Gustavo Hamer from Sheffield United. The 29-year-old has rejoined the Sky Blues for a transfer fee of £6 million, having previously played for the club from 2020 to 2023.
"I'm thrilled, this is the move I've always wanted to make," Hamer admitted after the deal was finalised.
"Getting promoted to the Premier League with Coventry is something I've always dreamed of. So, when the club came back to me, it was truly a special moment. I'm really happy to be back.
The love I've received from the fans has been incredible. The only way I can repay them is with goals, assists, and good performances. That's what I'll aim to do.
