Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer has recovered from a muscle injury and is ready to face Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge. During the break, the 24-year-old worked with a personal trainer. Xabi Alonso is also awaiting the returns of other players.

Chelsea have received some excellent news ahead of their Premier League clash against Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge. Midfielder Cole Palmer is confident he will be fit to start.

The 24-year-old missed England's recent Nations League fixtures due to a minor muscle injury.

According to The Sun, instead of joining the national team, he jetted off to the Caribbean, where he worked individually with a fitness coach. Chelsea's hierarchy fully backed this approach to his recovery, as the player's health remains their top priority.

Palmer's return would be a significant boost for manager Xabi Alonso, especially after the Englishman had a superb start to the season, netting four goals and providing two assists prior to his injury.

The London club is also hopeful for the imminent returns of Moises Caicedo and Marco Palese.
