Brighton are keen on signing 19-year-old Polish midfielder Bartosz Mazurek, currently with RB Salzburg. They will face competition from Benfica and Porto, with a transfer not expected until the summer of 2027.

Brighton have identified Bartosz Mazurek as their main transfer target. However, the Premier League club faces stiff competition for the 19-year-old talent.

The Polish attacking midfielder made a summer switch to RB Salzburg for €6 million after impressing with Jagiellonia back home. He quickly adapted to Austrian football and continues to find the back of the net.

Brighton's scouts have been keeping tabs on Mazurek for almost two seasons, viewing him as a perfect addition to their squad.

Competing for his signature will be Portuguese giants Benfica and Porto, both eager to secure the services of the young midfielder.

Mazurek is under contract with RB Salzburg until 2031, making a winter transfer unlikely due to his hefty price tag. Most probably, a club change will happen in the summer of 2027.
