Ashley Phillips has officially made the switch from Tottenham to Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old defender has signed a five-year deal with the Championship side.
Phillips arrives at Middlesbrough with plenty of experience under his belt, having previously spent time on loan at Stoke City and Plymouth Argyle.
Additionally, he is currently part of England's U21 squad, showcasing his potential on the international stage.
This summer, Phillips attracted interest from various clubs, but ultimately opted for Middlesbrough, marking the end of his three-year stint with Tottenham.
“I’m really happy to be here and I can’t wait to get on the pitch. It’s an amazing club, and it deserves to be in the Premier League. I hope to be a great addition to an already fantastic squad, and I’m looking forward to achieving great things together this season,” Phillips stated after signing his contract.
