Arsenal thrashed Manchester City 3-0 at Principality Stadium to lift the Community Shield, with goals from Calafiori, Havertz, and Odegaard.

Arsenal have emerged as the 2026 Community Shield winners, securing a convincing victory over Manchester City at the neutral ground of Principality Stadium in Cardiff. The match concluded 3-0 in favour of Mikel Arteta's side.

The Gunners seized control from the very start, with Riccardo Calafiori netting the opener just one minute in, capitalising on a precise pass from Myles Lewis-Skelly. By the 28th minute, Kai Havertz doubled Arsenal's advantage, tapping in from a cross by Kristos Tsolis. Just after the break, on 48 minutes, captain Martin Odegaard added the third, with Tsolis once again providing the assist, marking his second of the match.

In the second half, Manchester City's coaching staff made a series of substitutions, hoping to turn the tide. On came Jack Grealish, Omar Marmoush (who replaced Erling Haaland in the 53rd minute), Marc Guehi, Rico Lewis, Ryan Cherki, and Nico. However, Arsenal held firm, brought on Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Piero Hincapi, Viktor Djoekersh, Martin Subimendi, and Eberechi Eze to secure the win.
