Arsenal have been presented with a chance to once again pursue Endrick, who continues to struggle for playing time at Real Madrid.
The London club had preliminary talks regarding the Brazilian at the end of August and could turn their attention back to him next year.
Endrick finds himself on the bench again
The 20-year-old forward missed the first four matches of La Liga due to injury.
Upon his return, Endrick was included in Madrid's squad for their Champions League clash against Inter but remained an unused substitute in the subsequent match against Rayo Vallecano.
Having arrived in Madrid with a reputation as one of the world's most promising young forwards, he has yet to secure a place in the starting XI.
To date, Endrick has made just nine appearances for Real, five of which came in the Copa del Rey.
Real considering a new loan
The situation surrounding the striker might change in 2027.
According to The Athletic, Real plan to assess the situation before the January transfer window and may consider another loan for Endrick.
At the same time, the player could push for a permanent departure if his situation regarding playing time does not improve.
Following the sale of Gonzalo Garcia to Fulham, it seemed that Endrick's role in the squad would increase. However, Real further added forward Carlos Espi from Levante, who now also competes for a spot in attack.
This has left Endrick trailing behind both Espi and Kylian Mbappe in the pecking order for forwards.
Arsenal have already made contact
What’s particularly interesting is that Arsenal have already attempted to explore the possibility of signing him.
According to talkSPORT, the Gunners held preliminary discussions with Real at the end of August regarding Endrick.
Although a concrete deal did not materialise, Arsenal's interest was linked to their search for a new forward after failing to persuade Julian Alvarez to move to North London.
Now, Arsenal could return to the Brazilian’s candidacy if his position in Madrid does not improve.
Endrick instead of Djokeresh?
Arsenal already have options in the centre-forward position. Kai Havertz has been effective playing as a central striker, yet the future of Victor Djokeresh in London might be uncertain.
In such a scenario, Endrick could become one of the options to bolster that position.
